Cake tickets for the State Theatre

I love Cake! The group, and the dessert. For those of you who do not know who Cake is, they are an American alternative rock band from Sacramento, California. I will post one of their jams on this blog as well. Their music is often classified as alternative rock or indie rock and it combines multiple musical genres, such as ska, funk, rockabilly, pop, jazz, rap, and country. Their music features droll, and often esoteric lyrics rife with word play and syncopation, catchy distorted guitar riffs, prominent use of a Mood, and a solo trumpet. Riverdance tickets for the State Theatre

Riverdance is a theatrical show consisting of traditional Irish stepdancing, and is notable for rapid leg movements while body and arms are kept largely stationary. It originated as an interval performance during the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, a moment that is still considered a significant watershed in Irish culture. Riverdance will be performed at the State Theatre in Minneapolis on Friday, March 18th, two shows on Saturday March 19th (one at 2 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m), and Sunday March 20th. Clay Aiken Tickets still available!

Clay Aiken is an American singer, songwriter, actor, producer and author who began his rise to fame on the television program American Idol in 2003. He was offered a recording contract with RCA Records, and his multi-platinum debut album Measure of a Man was released in October 2003. He released four more albums on the RCA label: Merry Christmas with Love (2004), A Thousand Different Ways (2006), and the Christmas EP, All is Well (2006). His fourth studio album (the first album of original material since 2003's Measure of a Man), On My Way Here was released on May 6, 2008. Aiken has launched nine tours, authored a New York Times best-selling book Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in your Life with Allison Glock, and was the executive producer for a 2004 televised Christmas special, A Clay Aiken Christmas. He has been a frequent talk show guest, particularly on The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live.He appeared as a guest star on Scrubs and participated in comedy skits on Kimmel, Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. Hall & Oates at the State Theatre

Hall and Oates will be performing at the State Theatre in Minneapolis and we have just the seats for you!!! Daryl Hall and John Oates started working together in the early 1970's and went on to become the most successful duo in rock history. They met in a freight elevator while escaping a riot at the Aldephi Ballroom during the club's Battle of the Bands. The duo has sold over 60 million albums and have had a total of 8 #1 hit singles along with several other hits throughout the 70's, 80's, 90's and even in 2002. Some of the hits include "Rich Girl", "Kiss On My List", "Maneater", "Private Eyes", "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)", "Sara Smile", She's Gone", "One on One", and "Do It for Love". Vince Vaughn & Kevin James will be in Minneapolis on Saturday November 16th performing at the State Theatre. Vince has done previous comedy tours and now he is taking it to the road again with his sidekick Kevin James. The two are actually going to appear in the upcoming film The Dilemma (due to be out in January of 2011). The stand-ups for this show will be Owen Benjamin, Steve Byrne, and Richie Minervini while Vince and Kevin host the show. Funny man Daniel Tosh will be performing at the State Theatre in Minneapolis on Saturday November 13th and Ticket King has amazing tickets right on the main floor!  Comedian Daniel Tosh is best known for his Comedy Central TV show Tosh.0 which showcases Internet video clips. On July 13, 2010 Daniel Tosh made news for beating both Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert in ratings to have the highest rated non-animated show on the network. Tosh.0 is averaging 2.2 million viewers.
