The Viejas Arena will be waxed and ready to go for the San Diego State Aztecs vs. Bryant Bulldogs game this Friday at 4:30 pm. Do you know what also starts on Friday?
The celebration of championships at Viejas! Head coach Steve Fisher will be presented with his Naismith National Coach of the Year Award at the celebration on Saturday night where the Aztecs face the Southern Utah Thuderbirds. On Sunday Kawhi Leonard (the former SDSU forward) will be presented with his All-America award as well as his Mountain West Championship ring. The Riverside California native was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 15th overall pick in the 2011 NBA.
