Disney on Ice tickets

Looking for something to take the kids to?! Well, we have great tickets to Disney on Ice happening December 11th and December 12th at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul. The show features figure skaters dressed as Disney cartoon characters in performances that each derive their music and plot from elements collected from various Disney films and properties; the "stars" of the show are credited as the Disney characters themselves, performing their parts in mock cameos, while the skaters performing themselves remain anonymous. Whoa. The Vikings won last night! Pretty amazing for new head coach Leslie Frazier to have a win his first week! Frazier has a proven track record of success. His first title came as a starting cornerback with the 1985 Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XX. Frazier marks his 12th season as an NFL coach in 2010 and has another 11 years of collegiate coaching experience. In his 11 seasons as an NFL coach, Frazier has suffered a losing season only once -- his first season with Philadelphia in 1999. He has coached on seven playoff teams in his 11 seasons and been a part of six division championships.Things are looking up for the Minnesota Vikings :). The Godfather of Heavy Metal, Ozzy Osbourne, will be in Minneapolis performing at the Target Center on December 12th. We still have several tickets for the show in the lower level and on the floor. Is everyone going to be disappointed if he doesn't bite off a live bats head? I know I will be.

Fact: Osbourne has over 15 tattoos, the most famous of which are the letters O-Z-Z-Y across the knuckles of his left hand. This was his first tattoo, created by himself as a teenager with a sewing needle and pencil lead.

Tickets still available for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be performed seven different dates in December at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis and we still have tickets to all seven shows! The show is based on the "coat of many colors" story of Joseph from the Hebrew Bible's Book of Genesis. The show was first presented as a 15-minute pop cantata at Colet Court School in London in 1968. After many transformations and expansions, and West End  and Broadway Productions, it was adapted as a straight to-video film, starring Donny Osmond and directed by David Mallet and Steven Pimlott, in 1999. The show has very little spoken dialogue, it is sung-through almost completely. It runs under two hours and is occasionally performed without intermission. Its family-friendly storyline, universal themes, and catchy music have made Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat one of the most dependably profitable titles in musical theatre. Parking at Ticket King

So whenever people come in to pick up their tickets they park in front of a meter. Sometimes people think it is okay to just run in here really quick and not put a quarter in the meter and then they run back out to their car and find a nice parking ticket. Well today, a girl came in to pick up her tickets and she didn't have a quarter. One of my coworkers Mandi looked in the register to get her one but there wasn't one in there. So she got one from her own purse. I just thought that was a really nice thing of her to do and sometimes it is nice to write about something different. What nice things have you done lately?

Hall & Oates at the State Theatre

Hall and Oates will be performing at the State Theatre in Minneapolis and we have just the seats for you!!! Daryl Hall and John Oates started working together in the early 1970's and went on to become the most successful duo in rock history. They met in a freight elevator while escaping a riot at the Aldephi Ballroom during the club's Battle of the Bands. The duo has sold over 60 million albums and have had a total of 8 #1 hit singles along with several other hits throughout the 70's, 80's, 90's and even in 2002. John Mellencamp tickets still available!

Looking for something to do tonight? John Mellencamp will be at the Orpheum Theatre at 6:45 p.m. in Minneapolis. John Mellencamp fell in love with music at an early age. He began gigging in local bars and fronting a soul band by the time he was 14. His professional music career began in earnest in 1976 when MCA released his first album Chestnut Street Incident. I thought I had no idea who John Mellencamp was until I did some research. Songs by Mellencamp that I know that are popular are Hurt So Good and Jack & Diane. Now Hurt So Good will be stuck in my head the rest of the day...nice. We still have tickets available starting @ $50/ticket. Last nights Minnesota Timberwolves game

Last night my co-worker Mandi and I had the opportunity to go to the Timberwolves vs. Lakers game and we had a lot of fun! Along with watching the game, the energy and music there just made it so exciting! There was also this guy there that knocked over a bunch of ice cream cones that the wolves mascot was bringing to another row because he was upset he couldn't get one. I would say for me...that was the highlight of the game. Later on the t-wolves mascot came back to the guy with two cones and smashed them on his shirt. Super funny! He deserved it! Mandi and I enjoyed seeing Lamar Odom. So cool to see people you have seen on tv in person...its like...these people do exist! Well, we lost last night, but I think we all knew that was coming. The game was super fun and I am glad I had the opportunity to go!

Busy Busy!!!

Holy cow! Everyone has been coming in here today to either purchase tickets for the Timberwolves vs. Lakers game tonight or pick up or purchase tickets for the Vikings game on Sunday! It is nice being super busy. The time flies by when its like this...feels like a day during the Twins season. It is nice to see so many people in here! Last Comic Standing Tickets

The Last Comic Standing is an American reality talent show that features comedian contestants who compete against each other  for a development contract with the NBC network and a television special that will first air on Comedy Central and then later on the network Bravo. NBC talent scouts hold open casting calls at various places in the United States. The finalists then go on tour and perform live in 60 different cities in the United States. I read some of the reviews that others have written after they went to the show and many of them stated that their faces hurt so bad from laughing and tears were streaming down their faces from laughing so hard. I love watching comedians who are ACTUALLY funny. Scientific studies prove that laughter is actually a therapy.
